   ALS CLINIC SUPPORT
Care Service Managers meet regularly with multidisciplinary clinics, individual neurologists, Veterans Affairs and other providers to coordinate plans of care. In Connecticut, the neuromuscular clinic at Hospital for Special Care and the Veterans Affairs in West Haven are both ALSA Certified Centers of Excellence, providing multidisciplinary expert care. To ensure that high quality care is available to the ALS Community, we provide significant financial support to the ALS Association Certified Center of Excellence at the Hospital for Special Care. We are grateful to all of our clinic partners, working diligently to provide care and hope in the ALS fight.
   EQUIPMENT PROGRAM
The Equipment Program remains the most utilized program, providing people with durable medical equipment to help relieve some of the financial burdens of ALS and an increased quality of life. Our community partners coordinate with ALSA-CT staff and medical providers to assess, deliver, maintain, and provide appropriate equipment.
